As you all may (or may not) have noticed, our GE banner has been the same one for quite some time now. We're being tickled by the idea of changing it sometime soon. So, do you think you have a kit that you've completed worthy of a spot on the banner? Post your best pictures of it here (the image must be clear, well lit, and a high resolution) . You never know it might just be on the front page! I'd really like to encourage everyone to take part in this, we want to see a diverse range of models covering different scales, grades, companies and most importantly level of experience. Please keep in my mind our stand on knockoffs. As such no knockoffs can and should be entered for consideration. I would encourage all members to consider joining in with this (irrespective of your experience and skills), the banner is intended to be a representation of the forum, and the members who share their work here. And if we get enough, we might even make a few banners to rotate together with the MotM banner as well! Strike03x will be creating the banner and will have final say regarding the images used. I think we should clarify what kind of pictures we need? Ideally it would be a picture of the whole mech, similar to what is currently on the GE banner. That way we get the whole thing in, rather than just close up shots. |

Its not about being good enough, there is no "minimum standard" (minus the pictures being in focus) its about contributing what you have.

I haven't worked on kits that much lately (currently working on cgue deep arms). I do have old works that maybe worthy to be put up on the banner. In any case, feel free to use my images for the banner. Does old painted kits counts? or got to be recent? I could retake pictures of some of my works and post it here. is it preferred to have a plain background? Some of my work #5 |

Some awesome models already offered for inclusion in the banner, but we need LOTS more. Just think, your masterpiece could be on display at the top of this forum for all of 2012. We really want images showing a diverse range of models and skill levels to form the banner, its intended to represent all of the members of the forum. |

It should be emphasized that even if you don't think your kit is as good as other members, you should still try to get your kit on the banner. So long as it's a picture that meets the picture standards it should be fine. The goal is to emphasize the diversity of the forum with the different levels of building. Edit* I r idiot, TC already said that.

You know...we could use this banners to make a personalized shirts! Just using my banner (thanks Fredrex for the PS), but it'll be better if GE and the modeler's name is with the banner image (kinda like how it's done with the modeler of the month.

How about work in progress pictures? I think those would be a nice touch to the banner. It kind of tells a story of how a model came to be. |
