I noticed that they have a tree with clear parts.

Are they replaced or is the clear part tree an additional, optional thing you can do?

Interesting in the MG God Gundam 30th Anniversary one.

the clear parts are additional - which means, you still have the original, colored runner included

(funny thing with the MG Ball,... technically you get an entire second hull)

That's what I want to buy.

Is it possible to get an Action Base for this kit or since it's an old MG, Action Base do not work with it?

What Tamiya spray paints do I need? I want to paint the entire kit? I also supposedly need a mask too? What do you recommend? I also am interesting in masking tape so that while I spray, I can get a clean finish. Also, right now I have the Tamiya Basic Tool set and let's just say that it's not really that good. The nippers and the file that it came with are so so.

All I did for my kit was grey panel line it and finish it with a flat top coat. As for action bases I'm not really sure about them, since I only have one action base that was included with my MG Red Frame Astray. Also you might wanna paint the vulcans on the head yellow since they're white. Hope that helps

Action Bases are pretty versatile. I'll showcase its ability with the God to you when I get back home from work.

For Tamiya spray paints, I recommend Italian Red, Chrome Yellow and Brilliant Blue. I went with regular Blue for a darker tone. White can be Matte or Gloss. The inner frame should be a dark grey color. I personally used Metallic Black and like the results.

Right, back home from work now.

Spoiler: click to toggle

I really should finish my God Gundam up though. At least I have some free time on my days off tomorrow and the day after. :)
