The next gundam series is basically about gunpla, then why don't they make full use of it, I mean look at beyblade, bakugon, and other series that all not only releases their episodes to several channels at once, but also sets it up so they can sell not only full kits but make it so that you can switch out "parts" to improve the kit as well as an online site that you can put your kit's using codes that is put somewhere, what else do you think bandai can do if they want to milk the next series for all its worth?

how does i plastic.
what do you think gunpla beginners is for? lol its about the gunpla.

if bandai want to make a killing with the next series, all they need to do is put a series together that fits gundam back into the real mecha genre, have a wide and unique range of mobile suits, decent character growth and likeable characters.

what happened to my blocky mechs and proper wars dammit.

Even though that would enable that to make custom kits, I mean who here has kits that they hate a section of the kit, like I hate the beginning gundam's beam v-fin and thus can exchange it for another kit's head that you love without having to buy another whole kit

Gundam series now are all about selling gunpla and figures... it's a shame. BUT THE MODELS ARE SO GOOD!
It's the Sinanju! The Red Comet! You can't defeat it!

Do you mean something similar to the armoured core infinite variability idea? It'd be interesting to see bandai do it, but I think the market's too small. I mean, there's a lot of people who if they buy a kit, they want the gundam just like it was in the show/ movie/ OVA/ manga. They'll want the main weapon and the ability for a trademark or otherwise striking pose.

Now, with the advent of beginning gundam, there's a small possibility such things are opened up to us. I mean, a few of the mechs we've seen from it so far have been somehow varied from the original design in ways other than a recolour. It'd be cool to see stuff like extra missile pods, some of the really unique or notable weapons, backpacks and other such things, with the possibility of items unique to an accessory line of sorts become available, but I think it's a long shot ^ ^;;

If they want to make a lot of money off of the next Gundam series, they should make it an animated version of Crossbone with good animation quality. UC fans are happy because it's UC (unless you're one of those people who thinks late UC isn't enough like UC...) and the newer fans are happy because it's something new that they need no existing knowledge of the earlier conflicts to understand. Aside from F91, which is one movie. Bandai and Sunrise tend to ignore late UC though for some reason.

With this they appeal to both fan bases and are free to sell models of mobile suits. Plus there's already a Crossbone X1, so that already exists to make more money off of, then they can rework X1 into X2 and X3 variants. Again, more money for Bandai. If Bandai wants to make money they have to cater to the old fans once in a while, since they're the ones buying the high price products.

Well gundam need to go big with the show before they go into marketing huge models, if they can make a show with a mix of mobiles from all the era, be it that OLD people pilot the classic mobiles or young people collecting old mobiles, like people do with cars, an that mobile suit is available to anyone with the money for them, like imagen outlaw star, where if u got the money for a ship u get it, an what u do with it, is ur problem, gundam has space colonies, so they can do cowboy bebop story of traveling around universe... imagen all the models they can REMAKE better, more fun... nothing beats a good remake ...
