First Grade, High Grade, Master Grade...; Just a little something I noticed.

Bandai's kit grades progress First, High, Master, Perfect and Real, right?

(No Grade doesn't really count, I don't think, since it's not a real grade.)

This progression is alphabetical, so the next one would be...

Working Grade, perhaps?

Integrating motor functions would be interesting, yeah?

I have a feeling they may integrate a moving head into a model sometime.

No Grade definitely counts, it has way more kits than the FG line. FG only has the RX 78, Zaku II, Char's Zaku II, and the Exia, Virtue, Dynames, and Kyrios. While there are probably hundreds of NG kits.

But No Grade isn't actually an "official" grade, is it?

I mean, you can't go on Bandai's site and find a category called No Grade.

I still think Bandai's going to be incorporating motors into some super amazing PG at 1/100 scale size class. They were experimenting with RC motors for the MG Guntank feature that got dropped, I have a feeling that's not the last we've seen of that idea. Also, since RG was a miniaturized MG, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a miniaturized PG at 1/100 scale. Now that it seems new ones will be occupying the $200+ range for the near future, they'd have a lot of room to maneuver. $80-$120, perhaps.

No Grade is exactly what it's name implies. While it's not an official Bandai Grade, it's used often enough by people where I would say it's a classification like HG or MG. Just... A fan classification.

You guys are forgetting the Metal Grade btw. Even though there's only one model in it, and it's out of production. (Sites like Hobby Search list it as Metal Grade)

It's up to you if you just wanna call it no grade or not.

How about Ex Models and those 1/72 macross frontier kits. What do we consider them.

Real Robot Revolution kits from Bandai.

It is just coincidence, but I think with the advancement of RG, I will think there will be another Grade somewhere in the line of 10-15 years.
