I'm suprised there aren't more Transformers topics in the Figure Section.... Oh well... *EDIT I changed the title of the thread to include ALL Transformers, that way we can post about figures from various lines  Anyway, today we got the first peek at Takara/Tomy's Masterpiece Rodimus Convoy. Never was a fan of Rodimus, if it was hot rod, i'd probably pick it up. Vegeta you have any masterpieces? So far i have my fav's optimus(signed by PC), Grimlock and Skywarp. |

Yeah, I have Optimus with a trailer add on (not the official trailer), Megatron, and the US release of Starscream... Grimlock was just released here in the US, so if I see one, I may pick it up... How'd you get Peter Cullen to sign your MP Optimus? Did you go to Botcon or something? |

His second convention appearance was at Cybercon 2005 in nyc. I didn't even know he was going to be signing honestly. I grabbed a 25th anniversary box at the show and had him sign it. I didn't buy the trailer cause, i don't even touch the box! lol I might get a magnus to play with. |

I wasn't so much collecting them as I was buying them to play with them when I was a kid. I loved the Armada anime though. I have a good amount of transformers from the sequel Energon (which I didn't like as much) as well. Minicons were epic though, especially the ones that combine to make a weapon. |

never liked hot Rodimus. But when i was younger i remember my god brother had this huge optimus prime. Came with the mini optimus and the huge carrier which he could fuse with. |
 This story is a work of fiction...but in ten years, who knows?

Ahhh. I don't mind them, i just hate energon Minicons. To me, after growing up watching great transfomer series, it was just a stupid concept imo. |

I'm liking the War For Cybertron stuff, and any remaining animated toys. The rotf stuff is cr@p. The new powercore stuff is kinda interesting, but all these drone type figures are weird. Also, combining dinobots is just wrong!!! lol |

I mostly collect vintage Transformers, but I also allow myself to buy G1-inspired new figures, like Classics and Masterpieces... I had some ROTF stuff, but I ended up selling it off on eBay to make room for Gunpla

My collection really is a mishmash of whatever figures I see and like, but it is heavily populated by Classics/Universe/Generations/Henkei toys. I'm really liking that MP Rodimus, but I don't think I'll bite unless it does in fact also transform into Hot Rod. I'd also really love one of the custom toy makers to create a custom Targetmaster for him. That'd be seriously amazing. |

Hmm.... $187 is a bit steep. If it was the same size as MP Optimus and Megatron, I could understand the price... But I have a feeling this is going to be one of those smaller MPs like Starscream and Grimlock... |

It's been confirmed that it's around the height of Optimus and Megatron. Takara wants all leader figures at one size and all others at the smaller size. A person over @ TFW2005 was able to compare images that included Predaking vs his own MP Prime and Predaking. In the end, he found Rodimus and Prime to be about the same height..
