This is also a great way for newcomers to get into the franchise. With zversus' collaboration with a bunch of YouTubers including Guiltar for Rider Fest this upcoming August 2010, we can get a few more people involved. So... perfect timing with this thread. Its not all fun and cutesy most of the time... especially in the series that too place from the 70s to early 90s. What I like about it is that its more character driven with more character development. Tons of moral conflict and usually cute actresses on the side. xP Rider Fest is a collaboration event for a bunch of those in the Kamen Rider and Gunpla community. Quite a few people in the forum including myself will be taking part in the event. You can do figure reviews, AMVs, anything on YouTube about Kamen Rider. You can refer to some of zversus past update vids for more info. I'm kinda hoping some of the Gunpla community gets involved as well... hoping for customized kits in a Rider-color scheme. ^^; Edited by RE-Birth, Jul 25 2010, 06:55 PM.

They are very well done. If you like sentai . or even if you are a hardcore Otaku these movies will get you hooked on kamen rider. after thoes movies I also highly suggest Kamen rider amazon. Its gritty, Its action packed, and you will grow to love the main rider within 3 Episodes guaranteed. Honestly all of the showa era Riders are pretty much a must watch they are all good. once you get into the heisei riders some of those series are hit or miss.

To be a little bit nit picky, there was American footage shot with the suits from Zyuranger such as a good bulk of the "Green With Evil" saga. For example the scenes where Rocky is trapped and fights against the Green Ranger was directed in America and they imported the suit. I've grown up with Tokustatsu all my life. But I've only grown to love Kamen Rider in the past four years. I highly recommend people who want to start off by watching Kamen Rider Black/Black RX and Kamen Rider W. Black/Black RX, while very "corny" and older looking as far as special effects goes, gives you a taste of Showa Era Riders. W is the lastest series that has that special Showa Era charm to it, but has a new school spin on the series with the multiple forms, new age SFXs, etc. If you enjoy both of those, sprout out through there. Watch some Showa and Heisei era so you're not just watching the newer or the older. Oh, and Gao: Quote: kabuto is jewish Fixed

I also heard dragon knight is better than ryuki but i won't go into that, don't wanna start a war. I've also seen a few episodes of double since it's like the newest one. Really want that Figurearts Fang Joker.

Who ever told you that is crazy. Dragon Knight had sooo much potential it wasn't even funny. Then it was flash back episode after another. I don't even the writers even wanted to be on the series anymore. I mean...it just got lazy and so many plot holes came up. Like when Spoiler: click to toggle Kit is having nightmares of the Black Dragon Knight pretty much killing Wing Knight and Siren and Kit fears of being the Black Dragon Knight, or Kamen Rider Oynx. And then...nothing comes of it! Kit even GETS the Advent Deck for Onyx. And it doesn't even BOTHER HIM. Its like the writers had forgotten what they wrote! So yeah, don't watch Dragon Knight. I mean c'mon, Power Rangers that look better, fight flashier fights, and ride around on CBRs.
