Do we need any more section? Most of the activity takes place in the gunpla product discussion or general discussion sections anyway. More mods will be greatly appreciated. We need at least 1 online at all times. |

I think we have enough mods. There was a mod on when the spamming happened... I could understand if the mod was afk... If he just didn't notice, then that is a sign that mods should check around the sections more often. |

Just a question does ZetaBoards, contain the option to merge threads, move accordingly to another section with a 'kinda link left' or better completely? & why do the Moderators if those possibilities exist do not use them, and I agree with ZRO not more sections unless really needed. my two cents gentlemen/ladies |

This may have been suggested before, but would anyone be interested in a spotlight/ highlight section where we: 1) Recommend a youtube channel for a week, 2) Pick an existing Gundam model for discussion (again for one week), 3) Highlight and welcome the new members who have joined up with the past seven days and invite them to tell us a bit more about themselves and give them an opportunity to show their models on an exclusive thread. Also, the VIP lounge gets very little use. Would anyone prefer a Veterans lounge where members who have been regular poster for six month or more can be given access to a couple of exclusive discussion threads? Finally, should we change the procedure for joining the forum to include administrator approval of new user accounts. |

all sounds nice, though I think it should be for approval for topics excluding a few threads like the video upload thread. also a suggestion on 3. one forum site I am friends with do this thing called the hotseat where people vote on who gets to be in it, and for a week that person is in the hotseat answering questions asked by anybody, though if it is too personal or other, they don't have to answer. (Its not all new people, its everybody who can be in it, and sometimes you can be in the hotseat more than once, though at least a month or two before allowed to be back on it) |

I would like to be part of the "veteran lounge."  i know... i'm not 6months on this site yet.  There are things i want to discuss such as hard to find gunpla/resin/deals that i don't want passerbys to grab or take advantage of. What about some way of verifying new topics. Surely there will be a moderator online at all times to keep things going smoothly. Its not like there is an huge amount of new topics everyday. I'm almost on here on an hourly basis, i could easily keep track of new topics. |

ZR0, the problem with what you are suggesting is the fact we have places to be for school, work, etc. We can't neglect those things. This is also not a paid position, but a volunteer. Also, I tend to be online most of the time, trying to pay attention (I've cleaned up ALOT of double posts, multi-quotes, etc), but we can't be there for everything. (There is a "Report" button down there for a reason too and you can always PM us, Mods/Admin if needed) |

Hence why there should be more moderators/one more administrator to monitor the forums. If one person cannot be on to monitor, another can step in to help. Yes its volunteer work, but at the same time when you become apart of the staff, you agree to certain rules on the board set by the creator of how moderators and administrators act and how active you should be. |

Approval for posting a thread or becoming a member seems crazy. It's understandable on certain forums, where discussion may be limited to certain topics, but I can't see a need for it here. Making ZR0 and/or TC mods would solve all the problems we've had recently. There's always one of them on, and they've been here for ages. Buying and selling section sounds good, but there's no need for others. I mean, GE doesn't have enough active members to warrant them. There're only a few members posting in certain sections as is, there's no need to split it further. TC's ideas are very nice too. I really like the sound of the "1 week". It would keep things fresh; THAT would be something where thread creation abilities should be curtailed, limiting it to admins or whoever. Here's hoping it lasts longer than "Gundam of the Week."

This forum is still not well known enough to have a successful Buying and selling section. If we do bring the section back, there will be very little people selling stuff. Usually I look at those type on threads on other forums to buy things... I believe most people are like me and go buy things other than sell things in that section.. just my two cents. |
