Savior was the coolest, but I think the first Justice represented Athrun the best. |

hahaha, Aegis gundam. He switched sides so many times his mobile suits may as well have been a stolen one. Anyways, Aegis also dies after being so sturdy and Athrun being so intent on killing Kira to avenge nicol, Aegis stood for Zaft. It died, and eventually his love for zaft did too. Thats why i think so. however, drifting off topic to Destiny, he becomes a douchebag and doesn't know left from right, being quite frankly the weakest character mentally. Athrun developed alongside Kira in Seed, sorry, I just don't see how he's such a girl in Destiny... |

It's got to be the ZAKU he used for a while at the beginning of Destiny. Anyone can look good piloting a Gundam or any other suit more advanced than its peers, but put a man in a mass-produced grunt suit, then you'll see what he's really like. And despite Athrun's sorry state for most of Destiny, his stint with the ZAKU at least showed off that he's a pretty decent pilot. |

I could argue in a number of different directions, but the suit that best represents Athrun Zala in my personal opinion is the Infinite Justice, its more streamlined appearance and arsenal than its predecessor the Justice makes it a top gun suit, it's shield alone is a frigging Swiss army knife in and of itself, its got beam sabers and blades everywhere (Hell even its legs have blades!), Athrun is the Red Knight, and what do knights use 90% of the time a sword or bladed weapon. |

Fanfiction.net Profile - I write as a hobby (When not building, or attending classes)... and what better to do it with than Gundam Fanfiction... (Current project - Mass military universe gundam cross over series [AC,CE,AD,UC,AW]) 1&2 story complete 3rd in progress. I've come to a realization, Setsuna F. Seiei stated "I am Gundam...", Setsuna pilots a Gundam... Therefore Gundam piloting Gundam... Gundamception... | |

Aegis or infinite justice. I'm just counting the MS's design though |

Infinite justice, the dark purple suited him, the tall camera/commander's horn always look good on his ms and the fact that athrun kicks a lot and the beam blades on the infinite justice's legs and the detachable backpack really made it look like athrun knew what he was doing. He looked at home with the style of battle the infinite justice could accomplish. |

I rather liked the Aegis.....cause to me it seemed a better mobile suit that had more limits than the other one he had. And I saw the title and instantly thought "He should have had a ball pod or a GM....wait wrong universe" Edited by Tyjos, Oct 23 2011, 11:03 PM.

Saviour. Too bad he did nothing but transform with it, but it was his best suit. |

Regular Justice. I say this because his dad pretty much had it made to fit his style of fighting. |

I would have to conclude that the Aegis Gundam suited Athrun the most. Well, I might be a little but biased as the Aegis was my favorite Gundam design for a while, and then Gundam 00 was broadcasted, resulting in that to change. Transforming suits seemed like Athrun's trademark. The color of red/lighter red was something of significance to him as well. Aegis, Justice, Savior, and Infinite Justice were all kind of similar color scheme - wise. The Aegis did not really have anything special about it besides its ability to transform. It pretty much had the basic weapons: a beam rifle, the head - mounted gun barrels, beam sabers, and, in his case - which was demonstrated tragically, a shield. The other weapon of course was the cannon used during his mobile armor form. Athrun still managed to make good use of the mobile suit. The Aegis represented Zaft, and when it was destroyed, Athrun went to desert Zaft and join Orb - switching his Gundam to the Justice. Edited by aegisgundam725, Jan 2 2012, 10:27 AM.

Aegis, which is a powerful suit in its own right, but is also equipped with the scylla cannon (my term is correct-right). (and I'm not saying this because my username and avatar is aegis!) Also, The first Justice, which is great for short and mid range combat as well. I also like the fact that he rides the jetpack
