I know all of the super robot wars or taisen which ever its called is in japanese besides that one that came out for the ds which is Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier. I have been watching clicks of these games on youtube and is there any of these games that are patched with a english translation where I could play on my ds, psp, or gameboy advance? |

youd be pretty lucky to find an English patch for these games but playing them is very easy once you get the commends down. There are plenty of translated guides on the interwebs. I used to play Super Robot Wars F and Final way back in the mid 90's on my sega saturn and there was in-depth control translations there and level guides. Theres a few people on this site that have a few versions of this game for PSP with guides like commandermetal, give hima PM on where to find the stuff if he done reply to this thread by the time you read this. |

Super robot war alpha gaiden has an English patch and the only other English games are the original generation games for the gba and the OG saga game for the ds the rest of the games : gba,psp,ds etc are not in English i suggest playing the either of the OG games first get used to the menu commands and then work your way up. The first srw game i played was SRW J which was overwhelming but i got used to it and now its like a bodily function. The two i suggest the most are J,K and W. i just got Super robot war alpha gaiden working on my psp so im going to give it a try @ Commandermetal if i get confused or cant seem to find some guides or just need help i will ask for some from you |

Currently replaying Alpha 3 after I beat it. I'm doing the Kuusha/Bullet route now. I love how you start off with two of the best units, Shin Getter Robo and Mazinkaiser. I'm kind of mad that the unlocked units and all the upgrades don't carry over, but I still maxed out Shin Getter, Mazinkaiser, and the original mechs. Also I'm playing Original Generations 2 for the GBA. I'm surprised at how much I like it even after playing the newer ones. I still wanna play Original Generations and OG Gaiden but I can't find it for a reasonable price... |

I haven't played SRW in a while... All I've played so far is J, but, I'm considering getting MX for PSP. If there's one thing I love about J, is the old-school kinda' feel it has. I love "8-bit music" I guess you can call it... Even though it's not, but, hopefully someone knows what I mean. God Gundam in J is hax... |

Im gonna add this into the mix too scince I love them, try out SD Gundam G-Generation games its like SRW except all the units are from Gundam series, newest one is G-Generation WARS on PS2 theres also one for PSP thats decent. |

G Generation Wars was great! I had lots of fun playing that game. The only G Gen series i played was Generation F and The new released Generation Wars. ________________ Back to SRW. Looks like i'm about to finish my 4th Playthrough with Setsuko later

And if you take a look at the scans in the link, you can kind of see some newer looking sprites for even Gaiking and Goddanner and others who have appeared in either W or K. Its nice to see them actually adding in new stuff for the game, and hopefully not reusing sprites over and over again. W was based on just sprites from the previous games and it made it look very old. |

Another DS SRW Game, eh? Looks like Banpresto and Bandai loves to make srw games on handhelds. But that's just ok for me since i don't have a PS3 yet. |

Seizure, I can imagine using the Destiny and Eva unit 01... I just hope they don't f**k up the story to destiny like they did in k, they basically made it so the whole story was in kira's POV and ended it as soon as possible.
