the title says all there is quite a lot of weird things 1: how the freakin crap do they get their robots to move so well with just some idk whats its called lol it made sense in G gundam because the gundam would memic the pilots movements, but piloting the gundam and its moving as if its a real person just by sitting there is weird 2: when the crap do they use the bathroom (weird lol i know XD) but it doesnt really matter i still love the gundam series overall, but those two things bug me XP any thoughts about what freaks you out the most about gundam or just want to rant on mine XD Edited by AwesomeRice, Jul 20 2009, 05:45 PM.

DUDE!, i share ur questions, specially when do they go to the bathroom, an i dont know about the controllers, I write my little mecha stories an i use the controls from gundams but exactly how they work? i dont know i just write a few things i believe in my stories an move on, cuz G gundam has the best control, like anything u do it happens, but also its bad... what if u get a itch? if u scartch ur... u know what... it would be weird, what if u sneeze? or if a mosquito got in an u started to try to swat it... O.o this can happen, the original basic controller seems kinda hard hahaha, like how do they make it jump? or fly or something. in evangelion they mostly work with thoughts and controls... so yea.. |

I've always wondered myself how they're so articulated by humans with the few switches and controls visible in some cockpits. Airplanes have a ton more switches, yet MS pull off crazy maneuvers with many thrusters and such with only a small amount of visible buttons. Possibly, a lot of movements may be assisted by an onboard computer or such. Something I've always wondered is, why do they send out Gundams that combine in sections separated? They're just going to do a midair transformation later... It seems a little pointless to send ZZ for instance out in it's sections when they could just assemble it in the hangar and send it out then. That's one reason I like Victory a lot, in the middle of the series Victory is assembled when they're in space and they don't do that mid air crap. At the beginning they didn't always have the components, and it seemed a little big to transport assembled with their trucks, so the combining there seems a little justified. |

virdis, i share ur feelings, how the hell do they do alot of those things, well all gundams have a very nice AI computer, so i guess that helps, but still, computer is just helping, so there must be some play around... about the mid air thing, i guess they do it to make it seem wow!, sure its incredible the first 2 times.. then its like why the hell is not one attacking it? i seen other animes(dbz for example) that they look O.O what is he gonna do with so much power? hell if it was me, i be like, OH HELL NO! slash! or cannon fire, or something, I know there is honor in battle, but its not honorable to die cuz of neglection, some seires of gundam have them transform and I wonder what the enemy is doing... taking a tea break? honestly, if it was you, and u were kinda losing, would you wait for ur enemy to show off his new armor? or slash and bash an kick his ass b4 he even gets one leg in. |

I like to imagine they use macros for the advanced stuff, e.g gripping objects and so on, and they control the large movements (Turning, walking forwards, moving forwards and aiming themselves). One strange thing I saw, In Z Gundam in the Axis spaceship, there was a stalk or heron flying around.... in a spaceship.. xD |

Though I shouldn't be answering these questions. lol. Spoiler: click to toggle I have to agree with the multiple flyers to combine a gundam. I just don't see the logic on that. Also who's stopping them for launching multiple Gundam of the same design. In theory, the carrier have more than one of the same flyer, unless they only have one core fighter. That's another thing I like about V Gundam  Uso has been through a ton of the "boots" section for the V Gundam by 15 eps that it's madness. |

hahaha, honestly, who says no one thinks about the bathroom while in battle? hell what if u have explosive diarria mid battle  that be nasty, but nayways anyone remember the guy in G gundam getting his suit on the first time.. so tight!.. O.o why! why!... can it be like the evangelion suit, big an husky once its on, u hit a button an boom! skin tight lol

A thought just occurred to me. Why does the Zaku I have a bar right in front of it's main camera? Wouldn't that limit it's visibility...? I guess that's why the Zaku II became the main grunt suit for most of the OYW. |

Because it's chest is filled with nukes and/or cows, and it's pilot's body is not yet ready for the power of the mustache, so no cockpit can be placed in the head. The back needs to be open for either the moonlight butterfly or mounting the shield. Therefore, the only spot left is the crotch. |

Why didn't Amuro get killed at all through all those SO CLOSE KILLS by Char? XD I mean c'mon! I'm not a bad guy or anything but I feel like Amuro dodged as many "bullets" as Neo from the Matrix |
