i agree with gao aka "the boss", posting a wip with some color suggestions, always is good. i mean it kinda lets you get a feel from what other people might see the kit as, but still the end result it is still up to you, i mean after all it is your kit, and you will be stuck with it lol :P

but regarding they sequence you "should" do is really, well it can be done any way really lol

the way i do it is,
nip the part, shave down the nubs, sand nubs, sand the parts that i think need to be sanded like if they have swirls sinkholes, dips, bumps, etc. then decide if your going to mod/pla plate/ scrib, if not then your ready to prime, witch in most cases i really reconmend, then spray on the color, then clear coat either gloss or semi, then panel line, then apply decals, then flat clear coat. lol kinda long but personally i think it tends to be good.

but the more i don't use primer the more i question why i need it .
but i will say this, when your spraying from a can the paint goes on better with primer for some reason
